Multiplying Two Digit Numbers One Less Than and Other More Than The Working Base Using Nikhilum Sutra: In this method we take a common base such that one number is less than base and other number is more than the base. Such type of Techniques of Vedic Maths help us to perform calculations in a much faster way. Mastering such type of techniques is very essential in Competitive Exams where time is very precious
For example let us take 92 and 87 |  |
Step 1:We will take the base as 90, then one number is more than 90 and other number is less than 90. let the base be 90 92 +2 87 -3 |  |
| Step 2: Now, multiply +2 with -3, we get -6. |  |
| Step 3: Now, add diagonally 92 with -3 or 87 with +2, We will get 89. |  |
Step 4: Multiplying 89 with the base 90 and add -6 Thus, answer is 8010 -6 = 8004 |  |
